…reading up Questionable Content.

Honestly, tomorrow isn’t a good time for me: I have to rush between Suntec City and my fire station for my NSF duties. And this is the first time I’m going to anticipate a mental fallout. But I have to make my plans, or I’ll never experience such things in my lifetime…

Maybe. I wanted talked to my significant other out to let me borrow a certain digital camera (I know this model is a bit dated, but sometimes I do understand the mindset of the frugal folk: if it still works, why bother buying another digital camera? Sometimes I wonder if frugal folks have a deep-seated hatred against planned obsolescence, or they are just stoic about capitalist evils…). Unfortunately, like the said webcomic’s Faye, I might face a little knockout, for strange reasons.

But, that said, I’ll go through with the plans. If that means less sleep, then that’s the sacrifice I have to endure. I’ll take this fanboy crusade one Nescafé at a time.

My planned obsolescence on DSL-enabled Internet connection is on early July. I am currently using Starhub’s cheapest integrated home-based and outdoor wireless broadband solution. The only reason why I chose Starhub — even though speeds in cable modems vary on how many people are using the bandwidth in my area — is the limited period of liability I’m contracted to (12 months), and out of many Internet plans in Singapore, Starhub seemed to offer the only 2-in-one solution (home-based + outdoor wireless).

So far, in the last week, I find it hard to adjust to slower download speeds than I got used from my previous ISP. It’s the nature of cable, I guess. But as long as I have an Internet connection, nothing fazes me.

For “unique” people like me, the idea of a good day is when it is raining on a Saturday. Most people would probably dismissed me off as goofy, but then again, so is Chee Soon Juan.

Today, I’ll be going down to HardwareZone office at Buona Vista, they invited me to a PlayTest seminar. Since today is a raining Saturday, who wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity? It the freaking HardwareZone people, the same company that hosted the EDMW watercooler shed!

Anyways, expect a barrage of blogging today. A good brethen of mine (“For Nod!!!!”) just dropped a comment, and it reinvogrates my strength to continue blogging about something.

And Drmchsr0′s favourite “arch-nemesis” has commented about the JoJo incident.

Expect good times ahead.
