I CRIED, CRUSADER! I CRIED!

I have totally forgotten that on Valentines’ Day a.k.a. Single Awareness Day, it was also on this very day, when a Malay regimental soldier took his regiment for the last stand against the Japanese in what would be the last great battle before the fall of Singapore, on 15 February 1942.

I will forever mark each February 14 with his remembrance. May Allah have Mercy on his soul.
