I’ve long since returned from my trip in KL, and I have promised quite a few people for their pictures, so expect no activity here. Also, I’m listening to Makino Yui songs, in anticipation of her arrival in Singapore this Saturday. If you excuse me, I’ll be Makinogasm…

Archive for December, 2009Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I am… left with no hotels to crash in. It seems to me that Malaysia had a public holiday (Awal Muharram) on Friday, meaning all hotels are fully booked. From Petaling Jaya to Subang, the entire city is undergoing a massive holiday arrivals from everywhere. Commented by a taxi driver, it seems that KL is having better business than Singapore. XD I will have to find amiable solutions, or I go humble and sit in at a place of worship. This weekend, on the 18th to the 21st, I will be flying over to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend the following events: Monash Open Day 2009
Incidentally, Monash University is having their Open Day on the same Saturday which Comic Fiesta is to be held. One of the reasons I’m attending this, is because I am interested in applying for their Bachelor in Information Technology & Systems course. I will be asking their staff on the requirements for the course, fees and miscellaneous enquiries. I planned to enrol myself there for the July intake, so that would leave me plenty of time to sort out the administrative work and basically sit back and relax until I get the letter of acceptance. God Willing, all things should be as planned, and hopefully I can enjoy as many Ramly burgers as I want to! XD Comic Fiesta 2009
This is one of the few events most followers of the anime/cosplay events scene would be interested. For the uninitiated, Comic Fiesta is something like Singapore’s End-Of-Year festival, minus the EGL fashion and Makino Yui. I’m interested in the artworks of the various doujin artists, considering that the organizers have set up a countdown of sorts, featuring art from many contributors to support the event. It is a refreshing take on the cosplay scene, as I understand that 3 people (that I know of, wink wink) are attending the festival. I may/may not go for the Saturday event, as I am probably busy with shopping spree at Petaling Street (already there have been requests for high-quality… err… imitation goods, which will make me go orz before the end is over). Incidentally, both events are happening at the same district. Talk about ecological sustainability (if I minus the taxi cab…), Also, this is my first self-planned solo trip (I’ve been to other places alone before, but that was with a group), so backpacking here I come! Tags: comic fiesta, monash open day, solo trip, sunwayThis is going to be the craziest feeling I have felt today. I just helped others out on stuff, and I felt tired. Yet I am suddenly flummoxed with a sensation of a high. This is weird; I think I can fly. I feel like I must do something to enliven the world! So I paste another picture of the week to help out on you guys, who are (not) celebrating any public holidays that’s imminent this month. For me, I think it’s a worthwhile month to relax. Well, Autumn 2009′s Kämpfer just gave me that middle finger sign.
The amount of dreg that was put into this one segment, cannot justify the many facepalms, sighs and flamethrowers I want to throw at this series. Others take it in their slide; this guy had it enough. In fact, I’d just post up an Adepta Sororitas with a flamethrower to burn this to Warp. If there was a speech I like to say, it’d be, “F*** you, animation studios! And that goes to all the new anime series pending to air or planning for review. Give me back to pre-2007 quality shows or I will instantaneously label all new anime shows as ‘sucks.’ All hail all the old anime shows, for they are truly evergreen and can snuff out at the new shows!” Tags: Anime, autumn 2009, kampfer, WTFH?!

Throw Yourselves Down The Well and Rid Yourself of Your Stupidity!Posted by TP in Miscellaneous, all and sundryI am stuck in a rut, apparently. Indeed, MrMayat has pointed out in my last post (which is more of a scheduled post, in celebration of a certain talent coming down to Singapore), that I am unemployed at the moment, and not very well emotionally. (It can also be said that I am at my most happy when everybody is down. I call this reverse trendsetting.) In between idling at the Otaku Elimination Game blog, watching some streams of anime shows I’m catching up on, listening to massive loads of Anime Trance collection, and loathing at myself for not going out to exercise, I began to see a side of myself that I refused to acknowledge, a side that, inadvertently, sparked this post. Before continuing further, I would like to take this opportunity to remark on the various anime bloggers’ latest fashion post for “Best Anime of the Nought Decade”: Jason Miao started it first. Tags: boredom, lifeThe fact that I’m down today, means that something’s not right with me. I should stop feeling down, and start helping to help myself by getting my spirits up. So in order to stop this sinking feeling, here’s another image I decided to put up, so that I can be cheerful again. Tags: random, sakurami kyouko, taishou yakyuu musume |
